Business & Experience
Justin has worked over half of his life in the high-tech and startup world — he cut his teeth as CAD technician when he was only fifteen. After a degree in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon, multi-year stints at Maya, Trilogy, and Design Edge he founded Thinktiv. He has devoted the last decade of his professional life to building Thinktiv as the nation's premier venture accelerator. In that time he has worked directly with leading entrepreneurs from coast to coast like Scott Painter (TrueCar), Joe Liemandt (Trilogy), John Price (Vast), Heather Brunner (WP Engine), and Greg Brogger (SharePost) to name a few. He also helped more established brands — like Intel, Microsoft, SC Johnson, Prysm — take advantage of Thinktiv's disruptive innovation services. Justin has earned numerous hardware and software patents ranging in focus from enterprise software to consumer package goods.
Users & Insights
Jessica has worked for over 10 years as a creative design researcher and consumer insights brain. She started her career at Iconoculture where she dug deep to decode why consumers actually do what they do. Most recently she was the lead researcher — delivering global consumer behavior insights — for the world's largest bicycle manufacturer, Trek Bikes. Jessica's insights were critical to developing many of Trek's innovative products ranging from the Domane road endurance line, the expanded full-suspension mountain bike product offering, and the highly acclaimed FX line of fitness bikes - which helped impact the bottom line and contribute toward $1B in annual revenue. With over 5,000 customer interviews conducted throughout the world and 250 customer insight reports, Jessica continues to deliver actionable insights for all types of businesses at Thinktiv.

Alex has devoted his career to making people smile — including his clients. Alex's passion for innovation and invention has taken him (literally) all over the world in his pursuits — from toy design, to footwear, to consumer electronics, to startup founder. Alex uses this diverse set of skills to craft masterful product designs that capture the interests of consumers while delivering business value.
